PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER

For certified divers aged 12 and over who would like to improve their diving skills, the PADI Advanced Open Water is the right course for you. This course is all about developing your skills further and gaining access to more dive sites up to a maximum depth of 30m/100ft. You have to complete five adventure dives, including the required deep and underwater navigation dive. Then you can choose the other three specialty dives in areas you’re interested in, such as night diving, wreck diving, drift diving, night diving, and many more. For every specialty dive you complete, you can earn credit toward the Specialty certification you pursue. You’ll receive an Advanced Open Water certification after you’ve completed all the exercises, practical tests, and quizzes.

PADI RESCUE DIVER

Learn how to deal with emergencies and how to prevent problems underwater by becoming a PADI Rescue Diver. This course builds on what you have learnt in your previous courses. Your instructor will teach you all the necessary knowledge and skills you need to handle almost any emergency. Here you will learn important skills such as self-rescue, recognising and managing stress in other divers, rescuing panicked divers and unresponsive divers, and emergency management. Together with your dive instructor, you will practise different skills and train to think like a rescue diver. To enrol, you have to be aged 12 or above and must have a PADI Adventure qualification or the equivalent.

EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE PROVIDER

Learn the simple steps to follow when faced with a medical emergency. In this course, you will learn how to handle life-threatening emergencies. There will be training on how to give proper CPR, how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and other skills and techniques so that you can provide the best possible care for a chance of survival while waiting for emergency medical services to arrive. It will also include training on preventing and caring for shock, spinal injury management, use of barriers to reduce disease transmission, basic First Aid, and First Aid kit considerations. By the end of the course, will be more confident in your ability to respond to a medical emergency. This training is a requirement for the Rescue Diver course.
